THE Soup

My Friend Cindy Said to me, " Have some soup. I made this for you. It's been slowly cooked for 4 hours." Thank you for your love, my dear friend! It's good for both the body and the soul.

Spicy Lemon Coconut Sauce

I see this recipe of spicy lemon coconut sauce from Heidi Swanson's 101cookbooks and want to try it right away. I get all the ingredients but cilantro. So my mom goes over to our neighbor's back yard garden and pick up a handful for me. It's good to have nice neighbors. Now here are a few shots of the yummy sauce. As always, my nephew Edmund is always eager to help whenever I am busy in the kitchen.

One of my favorite place for Friday dinner is at my friend Cindy's home. We have known each other since high school. Cindy has transformed from someone who doesn't cook at all to a fabulous cook today. I gotta say "You're amazing, gal!" Now here is one of  her new creation: spring salad.

Use to be I am the one cooking and Cindy washes the dish. Now it's a different story. She gotta have all the fun while I take care of the boring chore of washing dishes. Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining cause I will be the one gobbling up all the goodies at the end. Chicken meatballs like these make washing dishes more bearable.

Quickie Meal

For a quick lunch, I love peanut butter celery sticks. They are healthy and quite satisfying.

honey + lemon

Over the weekend, a friend of mine gave me a big bag of lemon from her backyard. Knowing that I use lemon quite a bit in my shoot, she especially picks them with Leaf intact as well. Thank you so much for your love. And now here are a few shots with these lovely lemons. On a rainy day like today, a good book and a cup of honey lemon tea is a winning combo for me. Hope these images will warm you up too.
